It is that time of year again where we have to start taking care of our lawns, mowing and weed eating. This year, my weed eater finally decided it wanted to stop working. Of course, I use it once this season and it does this! We have to keep yards kept up where we live and can be fined if it isn’t. So, this is a must-have! We have an amazing neighbor who loves to mow and mows the bulk of our yard for us. (This is a blessing, especially when pregnant!)
Now the dilemma of what to get that is a really good price, but also lightweight and easy to use. Due to husband’s work schedule, I have to weed eat, even while pregnant. I don’t want to pay someone to weed eat unless I am in the hospital, or it is right after I give birth. (I love saving money).
I looked at Amazon, Walmart and Lowes to see what was available. It is overwhelming to see all the options. Then like magic, Amazon showed me this mower, but it wasn’t just a mower. It was also a weed eater and an edger. I thought to myself, “How is this even possible?” I had to click on it. It is pretty incredible how simple this mower is.
It is a Black and Decker Electric 3-1 Edger/Trimmer/Mower
The mower deck is detachable, so you can use the edger/trimmer, and is easy to use. Compact too, which will help in storing it in the house. The handle is adjustable for height and the deck has 2 height adjustments. It has a 12 inch cutting width on the mower deck. Great for small yards like I have, and has all you need in one. I can’t wait to try it out and update you on how it goes! Side note it costs less than $90!
Update! I just did my yard! It was amazing to use. I switched back and forth between a mower and a trimmer as I went. I wasn’t as winded due to it being so lightweight, and I didn’t have to keep pulling the string out. It goes automatically. It even has a guide so when you weed eat it doesn’t hurt your house, string or weed eater as much! I think weed eating this summer won’t be so bad while being pregnant!
