Happy Fall! I love this time of year. It means pumpkins, turkey, sweaters, and boots! Our toddler went to the apple orchard with her papa and mimi this past weekend. She got a bunch of apples and a pumpkin. Guess that means we need to figure out a craft for the pumpkin. We came up with finger painting her pumpkin. 1 it is easy to do, 2 it is messy and 3 it is washable!
Instructions:
- Find a pumpkin
- Cover surface you will use
- Get finger paints you want
- Get a paper plate
- Let them have at it!
This activity is perfect for little kids or big kids. Pumpkins are easy to use with many crafts. Don’t be limited in what you do. Our daughter loves finger painting so we knew she had to do it. Best part of finger painting a pumpkin is that we set it outside on our porch to dry and look all festive. Even better is that the rain washes the finger paint off! That means she can keep doing it again and again! (She is ecstatic).
