Don’t start your Christmas shopping late! In fact, just start early and save yourself a bunch of money! You want to find a place in your home for stashing away some great finds. Any time is a great time to stash away next year’s Christmas presents for your kids. Here are 4 ways to save on Christmas presents for kids.
Shop End of Year Sales for the Upcoming Year
You can save on Christmas presents for kids by taking advantage of the end-of-year sales. We’re not just talking about Black Friday sales when it comes to end of year sales. Many stores put a lot of items on clearance after Christmas to clear out extra inventory that didn’t sell during the holiday season. This could be anything from toys to clothing, to home decor, and so much more. Pretty much anything you can buy retail can go on clearance after Christmas.
Shop Clearance All Year Long
All year long, you can find great toys on clearance, just because they are no longer current and need to move to make room in the shelves. You can save as much as ninety percent on toys you know your kids will love. Since new toys come in all the time, the stores have to close out even the good toys to make room. The same is true with clothing. Kids go through so much clothing and it’s traditional for many to receive new clothing and pajamas at Christmastime.
Check Thrift Stores
It’s not all that uncommon to find toys at thrift stores that are barely used. There are times that they even still have the original box! Sometimes they are even new in the box! This is also a great place to look for larger items, such as playhouses, toddler slides, doll houses, and outdoor toys. Clothing is another item that can be found in great condition from thrift stores, sometimes even brand new as well! Bicycles are another hot commodity and even gift wrap.
Check Online Marketplaces
