At the beginning of each week, sit down and write out a meal plan. Then write out what ingredients you need to purchase. This will help you be more intentional with the groceries that you do buy. When it comes to meals, you will already have the ingredients and any major prep work done. Making a meal plan cuts out return trips on groceries you don’t need, and it helps you visualize the meal. This ensures the proper amount of proteins, veggies, dairy, etc. is included in your family’s weekly diet.
