What is toddler style? Well for mom’s and dad’s it is whatever you can force them into. They are learning to be independent and boy are they ever! There are 3 different styles for toddlers. Holiday, Photo Shoot and Wearer’s Choice! 95% of the time it is Wearer’s Choice. I get lucky sometimes or Daddy does and picks the go to store clothes! (Be thankful for those days.)
We love finding great deals on clothes at Meijer, Walmart, Goodwill and random clearance sales online.
Holidays:
WE DRESS THEM! I know I am not the only one who forces her 2.5 yr old into matching nice outfits for holidays so that they look nice for once. At our house, we try to convince our little girl that we need to look pretty for grandma or grandpa. It sometimes works. She is a little diva with attitude, but somehow the manners we are teaching her are working slowly…
Photo Shoots:
Outfits that we make sure go with whatever we are wearing or they look great for the reason of photos – Birthday Photo Below. These are outfits we search for and spend decent money on (or find amazing deals at end of season clearance). We want our family pictures to turn out great! Now don’t even ask about the whole toddler cooperating in the picture part… (we bribed with leaves).
Wearer’s Choice:
Everyday photos of craziness where they pick their clothes and look crazy 95% of the time. You never know what is going to happen. (They still end up cute monsters.) Our little girl has learned to take all her clothes off and can put pants and shorts on herself. Shirts are still a problem, so she brings them to us until we put them on her. (She finally figured out how to open her dresser drawers). She likes to show her big personality for sure. Side note: At our ultrasound for baby#2 she picked her own clothes and shoes and matched everything. It was all rainbow galore! Everyone loved it.
